Time to hop along with some great designers with some amazing projects! If you came here from Wendi's blog, then you are doing this right! If not, make sure to go to Wendy's (that's indeed Wendy without the "i") blog and start from the beginning to get all the inspiration! I've got a fun fall project for you of course....
Aren't these so cute? I used the new Halloween collection from Carta Bella--Haunted....love love the designs on this one!
I used a wooden craft box made to alter, painted it up with black acrylic paint, then decorated it with the papers to create a book look. They will be a fun part of my Halloween decor this year!
Here is a peek at the inside of both "books":
I used the sticker sheet to create a lot of the details....the Haunted collection has a great 12x12 sheet!
Here is the back view:
And finally the "spine" of the books:
Make sure to continue the hop and enjoy all of the inspiration along the way! Thanks for hopping with us today, and you are on to the next stop.....Christine's blog. You'll find some amazing creativity on her blog so make sure to stop by!
And just in case....here's the complete list!

Love all the embellishments with this collection....the twine, the mini clothespins, the stickers, the sprinkles....makes it easy to craft up some winter cuteness--here's a couple of closer pics:
Love the little mitten stickers and snow globe:
And even though it's "old school" still love tearing paper....makes a great base for a wintery scene:
Thanks for hopping along today! And still plenty of inspiration to be found....time to hop on over to Sandy's Blog to check out all the amazing over there!!

Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop with Practical Scrappers
Welcome to the Practical Scrappers "Scrappin Our Stash" Blog Hop!!
Hopefully you've hopped from Kim's blog HERE and I'll have a link
of your next stop at the end of this post. If you'd like to start from the
beginning, hop over to Practical Scrappers HERE. So much inspiration!
And just FYI....Kiwi Lane is sponsoring our hop, and offering a sweet
prize, so make sure to pop over to the Practical Scrappers blog for the
details on that.....but guess what?????
I also have a sweet little prize pack waiting for a lucky someone....yep,
some Valentine's goodies coming your way.....just as long as you leave
me a comment....would love to have you as a follower....but won't make
that a requirement. Yes, one lucky winner will be chosen, and I will
post the winner Monday....must comment by Sunday Jan 12th by
midnight EST. And the goodies will be a surprise....but I tend to be
kinda generous....so don't think you'll be disappointed!....lol.
Well, on to the real business......time to clear out those old stash items,
to make way for the new, hot, hip and happenin' CHA goodies!
I decided it was time to crack the seal on some great goodies I picked
up from BoBunny....their Crush collection. Perfect timing to make this
home decor piece for Valentine's Day:
And the best part....not only did I use the paper, a journal box sheet,
chipboard and stickers, but also popped open some Making Memories
paints, to paint the raw wood cube and candlestick pieces.
Here are close ups of the different sides of the cube:
This is a journal box, and 2 stickers....I used a little paper to make the
banners, and added the chipboard birds and hearts.
Side 2:
Love the impact of this side....yet super easy....journal box, chip heart,
and chip love....trimmed to fit.
Side 3:
Yep, you guessed it....another "journal box" and added the birdcage
and hearts out of chipboard, and the sentiment is another sticker.
Side 4:
Wow....if that doesn't say love is in the air....lol! Another journal box,
but this one I trimmed to fit, then put a 1" piece of the "love" sentiment
paper on the left side. Not before I wrapped it with some yummy
Trendy Twine and added a chip heart border. Another sticker sentiment
and chip hearts in the upper right corner finish this side.
The top:
Thought I'd add a close up....this is a huge chip piece from the
Crush collection, and I used Glossy Accents to adhere a jewel
knob (Michael's dollar bin!). A bit of organza ribbon and more
twine are the finishing touches on top. I used the same twine and
ribbon, as well as another sticker/banner and a Tim Holtz bauble
to dress up the candlestick.
A quick tip....I assemble each square, THEN adhere it to the cube.
I recommend a strong adhesive, I use Glossy accents to attach the
wooden pieces together, and use Scor-Tape to adhere the paper
to the wood pieces....it really holds!
So there you have it....a little Valentine project, and I love that I
used my stash to make it!
Your next stop is Kelly Jean--you'll find her HERE. So many
wonderful projects on this hop.....hope you'll grab a cuppa, and
settle in for a lot of amazing inspiration! Thanks for stoppin' by!

Hi there, and welcome to the next stop on the Practical Scrappers Specialty Team hop!! If you hopped here from Charity's blog, you are on the right track! If you stumbled into the hop....make sure you pop over to Practical Scrappers to start from the beginning and complete all the stops....many prizes along the way, including a $25 gift certificate from Scrapbook Pal over at the Practical Scrappers blog (see details below).
Hope you are enjoying all these inspiring chevron projects! I've got a couple of fun projects to share with you! My first is this printer's tray made using the BoBunny Key Lime collection:
If you haven't tried making a home decor piece like this....give it a try....they are so fun to
do! And this collection is perfect for our chevron hop....it's got a great chevron print on
many of the papers, journal boxes and chipboard as you see on this project! I'm lovin'
the chevron trend....aren't you?
Here's the upper right corner....love the mix of chip, brads and die cuts....easy to mix and
match for a great embellishment!
Here's the bottom left corner....all kinds of embellishments happening....brads, chip,
stickers, and those colorful chevron accents--even on the chipboard pieces, and you
can see where I split one of the larger journal boxes into 2 and used it on each side
of a photo....a fun way to frame something when you are doing a printers tray:
And finally the bottom right corner....fun accents attached right to the tray to give it
more depth and texture:
My next project is a simple little card.....using these sah-weet chipboard chevrons from
UmWowStudio....love these things!
I made it using thinned black paint and a foam brush to splatter the kraft cardstock,
then painted the chipboard chevrons black. The circles were punched from the
Fancy Pants Park Bench paper with a 1&1/4" Creative Memories punch. The
words are from the FP sticker sheet from Park Bench as well. The Rubber Cafe'
Scrap Happy Glue holds it all in place! Fun simple card!
So thanks for hopping by....and before I send you hopping along to Michelle's blog,
I need to mention my giveaway! I'm giving one lucky winner this crafty goodness:
