Tag Time!

I've decided to participate in Tim's new 12 Tags of 2012!! I must
admit, I didn't get to spend the time on this one I wanted to (had
to pop it out in an hour this evening!). My changes....the alpha,
of course....I used Noel letters from MM. They actually are
quite pretty in person....glitter nicely. The cupid....I stamped the
stamp from the same set used to stamp the tag....and then I cut
him out of chipboard (that took quite a bit of my time...lol).
Regular stickles are on the cupid, and I used a bit of lace, and
some pearls ....and of course some bling at the top. Gotta have
the bling!

Ok, it's late, and I'm tired....think it's time to go!! Take time
to get inky soon (ok, maybe tomorrow.....yawn :o) Nite, nite!

Soft as Spring

These colors are just so getting me in the mood for spring time!!
Hoping our snow melts soon!! But for now....it's just all about
stamping springtime....lol. This card:

is the result of the color challenge....I used the pretty spring floral
die and cutie patootie bunny stamp from Cat's Pajamas! I layered
it up with Echo Park's Springtime collection, and the image was
colored with copic markers. Bling, button, twine and seam binding
from my stash. The cuttlebug embossing folder gave the white
background some dimension.

Get inspired....pop over to the Cat's Pajamas....or just take the color
cue from here.....get yourself a little springtime!

Gorgeous Color....

This challenge....from over at Core d'nations Cardstock is about
the color inspiration in the photo above. Is this STRIKING or
what?!! Just love the rich colors!! I think I captured it in my
"Birthday Elegance" card here:

I used my newly acquired Tim Holtz Kraft Core cardstock from Core d'nations.
I embossed and then sanded it. I used 2 embossing folders from Sizzix, the
background and the small "frame" that the sentiment is mounted to (I fussy
cut around that one).

Other detes....ribbon & trim from my stash....I made the stick pins w/beads
I got at Mikes, the patterned paper is MME Stella & Rose Hattie, the
stamped sentiment is Verve (Walnut Stain Distress Ink), MS butterfly punch,
and used bling from BoBunny.

Do you have Core d'nations you want to play with? Check out the challenge
HERE.

Take some crafty time for yourself today!

Sketchy Details.....

I haven't played at BoBunny in a long time! This sketch kinda inspired me,
and it was a "Love" theme....so I pulled out my neglected Bobunny Sweet
Tooth collection and the result is this card:

I mixed the Sweet Tooth papers, and the flowers and brads from the
Persuasion collection....love the way that works sometimes! The
"candies" on the top were cut out of the paper with a circle punch, and
then I hit 'em with glossy accents to give some dimension (foam tape
underneath does that too). They are layered on one of the "mini" pages
that I cut the shape out of and then cut it in 1/2. Super simple, but a
lot of impact....love it.

It's a great day to go play!! Get a little inky today!

Supplies:
Bo Bunny: Sweet Tooth, Persuasion (paper, brads, flowers, bling)
Distress Ink Vintage Photo
AC cardstock
MS punch

After the Storm...

it's rainbow time! We had rain yesterday--and it fit my mood, and my day,
unfortunately! So, I needed a little rainbow in my otherwise bleak day, and
here it is. I remembered the Cat's Pajamas inspiration challenge,
TCPTUES 196:

And so I used some Echo Park Summertime (all that gorgeous bright paper)
And inked up and paper pieced sweet 'lil PJ bear again! Amazing to me that
one stamp can give so many unique looks! The buttons, twine (Divine Twine)
ribbon and bling (Recollections) are from my stash. I used Memento to stamp,
and copics to color PJ and then black soot distress ink, to stamp the sentiment
and ink edges. Spellbinders classic circles and scallops made the mat behind PJ.

Hope you got some sunshine from this post today....here....the rain is gone,
the sun is shining.....it's gonna be a great day!

Bearing Gifts

Today is about the ABC's!! Of crafting that is!! Over at the
Cat's Pajamas blog, the weekly challenge (TCP Tuesday #197)
is to make Anything-But-a Card....yep...ABC!! Cute huh? The
cute lil bear was stamped on white cardstock and colored with
copic markers, and also stamped him on patterned paper to
fussy cut out and layer on the gift box and ribbon.

So I made up this cute little box to hold one of these:

The little $1 bottles of hand lotion from Bath & Body Works.
Simple, easy, cute little gift!! Made it using Echo Park's
Victoria Gardens Collection, from my stash....organza ribbon
MM bling, a button and twine (divine twine). Also Black Soot
Distress Ink, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers, and
the Cat's Pajamas "Peeking" stamp set.

Remember to check out The Cat's Pajamas blog HERE to play
along and discover their adorable stamps and dies! Love 'em!

Take time to get inky today!

I'm Feeling.....

Orange, evidently....seems to be a color trend for me...lol. This
card was made with Skipping Stones Designs (SSD) stamp set
"Uplifting". I had the idea & got it done just in time, for challenge
#113 over on their site! Here was the sketch:

The balloons, the sentiment, and the cloud border I stamped and
cut out was all from that set. If you get a chance....pop by and
check them out....they have a new sketch to play with every week,
and you can win free stamps! OR you may just pick up a few sets.
They are awesome!

Take the time to play today!

On this card I used:
Echo Park A Boy's Life
Copic Markers
SSD stamps
Memento Black Tuxedo Ink
Distress Ink Black Soot
MME twill ribbon
Recollections bling
Divine Twine
Button....stash

It's 4 U

Here's a card based on the February SFYTT (Sketch For You To Try)
and here is the sketch:

Simple, but fun to work with! I used my Cat's Pajamas Stamp set (tho
the sentiment is from Verve) and used AC pearl paper, some older
papers from my stash (they aren't in print anymore...sorry bout that!)
And also buttons and Divine Twine and Recollections rhinestones. The
circles were cut with Spellbinders and my CM punches. Oops, and
almost forgot the cuttlebug embossing folder!

I must admit I had absolute fits trying to get a good pic of this one...
this grey snowy day makes pics hard, even with a lightbox! Might
try again later, but this one's pretty good (except for being crooked!)

Hope you get a chance to play along with the SFYTT (find them HERE)
or at least to create something today!

Well, with my beloved Packers just missing their chance at the

cause they'd better be the best if they beat my Pack!....lol. And
whew....what a CLOSE one....but they did it! Congrats to the NY
fans (esp YOU Heather!).

Now you see the sketch above....it's Cat's Pajamas Tuesday
challenge #195. I decided to spend some crafty time while I
watched (since I wasn't quite as invested in the game).

I Love.....

Simplicity.

Yep, sometimes....don't you?

Yep, that's it.

Ok, I DID make this card for the felt challenge (#102) at Our Craft Lounge
(OCL) and you can find it HERE. I used ever so simple plain white cardstock,
stamped the tree and sentiment from OCL's Tree-mendous Love set, and
added a sweet felt heart and a bit of Maraschino Twine from the Twinery.

Done.

Simple.

Yep....Love that!
