2 Fer...

This Cocoa Mouse Cutie card is a 2 fer.....I decided to try one card for TWO
challenges, this week! It's for the Crazy for Cocoa challenge (C4CC13)
"flower power", a Cocoa Mouse image, and flowers anywhere on the card. It
also was done using this sketch:
This is challenge #65 over at Skipping Stones Designs. I turned the sketch on
it's side (of course). I like Lea Lawson's clean designs.....a lot like my own!!

Don't know where this week has gone.....don't know where this MONTH has gone!
Good news is....spring is right around the corner! Next month, lots of fun projects,
and a blog hop later in the month.....so make sure to stop by!

This is "TEALicious"....

This sweet and simple little sketch is from Lea Lawson. She's the guest sketch
artist, at Skipping Stones Designs (SSD) this month.

Here is my take on SSD sketch # 64....
I used more BoBunny and DCWV teal paper.....lovin' the teal.....it's
actually my fav color....what can I say? Even my prom dress style
bridesmaids gowns (had one of those stylin' 80's weddings....lol) were
in a beautiful deep teal color. Ok, woo.....snap out of the flashbacks...lol.
The flowers and sentiment and all the inking was done with Tim Holtz
Vintage Photo Distress Ink, and the stamp set is SSD Dandelion Dreams
one of my favs....so versatile!! The card was finished off with a sweet
little crocheted flower from Fancy Pants, and a bit of bling, a bit of twine
and....there you go.

Thanks for stoppin' by, and have a great day!!

Celebr8 for Cre8!

I made this bday card for the CR84FN challenge site using these inspiration
colors:

These colors just screamed birthday to me....and I was so excited.....what appeared
in my mailbox today, but my new Unity Stamp Co. Jillibean Soup stamps! WooHoo!
Perfecto!! Bobunny dot paper in teal, CTMH yellow stripe, and DCWV cardstock
in green and teal. Used Tim Holtz (shocker, I know...lol) Peeled Paint Ink, a circle
punch, and EK Success punch, and then some baker's twine, stickles, and bling
(double shocker.......lol), and so this sweet little card was born.....lol. Loving these
challenges......if you never have, check CR84FN out sometime!!

Hope you are enjoying springtime weather like we are in the midwest.....lovin' the
sunshine!! Hope you have a great week.....and make sure to say "hi" if ya stopped by!!

was to use the colors green, purple and yellow. Check, check, and check
again. And, of course, a Cocoa Mouse stamp! If you're interested in
taking a peek at these stamps (they are awesome!) go here. My CR84FN

Sweet Music

This is the sketch (SSD #63) at Skipping Stones Designs (SSD) this week! They
have a new stamp set too, that I'm really wanting to get my hands on!! My
card for the sketch is this little "note" card.....

I'm loving the pink/brown combo.....guess it's my "Valentines Phase"....lol.
I used the new SSD stamp set "Heartsong". I think it is my very fav set
by them so far! I used the always yummy Tim Holtz Distress Inks in
Vintage Photo and Spun Sugar to stamp and ink/distress the cardstock.

Enjoy your day today.....see you soon!!

Time to CR8!!

I have been making a lot of vintage Valentines, so I thought I'd go in a different
direction for the CR84FN challenge this week!! The inspiration was:
Got a chance to play with my new Valentine set from Stamps of Life....kept it simple,
but definitely sweet! To add a little extra "sweet".....I'll have some more "Cocoa" up
this week too.....come back soon!!

Vintage Valentine

This Vintage Valentine has the simple elegance of days gone by. I did
this for the Design Team over at Cutter's Creek (CC). If you get a chance, drop
by here, and leave a comment and say hi! I used the new gorgeous gold
Flower Soft on the small heart.....I can't even tell you how pretty it is in
person! The roses are Prima, the "love ticket" is from Tim Holtz's "Love
Struck" stamp set. The pretty paper is from Graphic 45's Le' Romantique
paper pad....wow talk about gorgeous paper! Lots of distressing "love"
on this one too....used that handy little edge distressing tool from Tim, and
Victorian Velvet and Vintage Photo Distressing Inks, too. Iridescent Gold
Glimmer Mist finished off the hearts and the flowers.

I'll be posting more vintage Valentines over at CC over the next week or so,
so make sure to keep on visiting over there.....I may not get them posted
over here.....and they are all very unique!! So please stop by and say hi!!
