Chicagoland Scrapbooker Magazine LO...(psst check the giveaway!)

Love summertime LO's....my favorite time of year to scrap!  This LO is also using the CTMH paper sent by Lori Brown to all the gals on the Chicagoland Scrapbooker Magazine DT.  This "Tommy" paper was my absolute fave, and I made this LO:

Now the trick to these projects.....to use the ONE sheet of paper to make a project,
whether a card or a LO.  I used one sheet of a solid base color (Core'dnations), and
then used the one sheet of patterned paper to make most of the embellishment on this
page.  It's a two sided paper, and I fussy cut banners and the words from the paper.
A couple of small buttons, twine (Nautical Trendy Twine), burlap and letters were the
finishing touches....but it's mostly the one sheet of pretty paper! That was a challenge
for my ever embellishing self!....lol!

Now as for the giveaway....all week Chicagoland Scrapbooker Magazine is having a
giveaway of a gorgeous CTMH set.....you just need to leave a comment over on their blog!
Make sure to leave one every day this week for the best chance!  You can find the post
with this project and another fun project HERE.  Stop by, let us know what you think, and
be entered to win this great prize pack!

  2. Love this layout. Looks like the boys had fun posing just for it! Hard to believe that it is only 1 pretty piece of paper!
