*****NOTE***** Challenge Deadline Extended.....you can add your link for your
challenge project until 9am MST Friday July 6th (10am CST and 11am EST).
This thread is to add all my challenge photos for the Crop Chocolate "Left Behind" Crop!
We know the gals at the Spring Fling are having a great time....so we are having a great
time here at home so we're with them in spirit! If you'd like to participate in the crop too,
you can find the post with the Mr. Linky and details HERE.
Challenge #1: Something that reminds you of Spring LO
This one was done with MME....Lime Twist paper and die cuts from
from CC. Also used Doodlebug button and brads from
CC as well. The thickers and twine are from my stash.
Challenge #2: A LO in 1 hour or a card in 30 minutes
This came together SUPER fast....because I used die cut
sheets from the jumbo pack from CC. The circle, flowers,
absolutely you, "you are love" and the strip on the left all from
those die cuts! Brad in the center of the large flower is a bazzill
brad from CC (Thanks Lucy/aka Haf2Scrap!) and then a few
pearls from Recollections. DONE!
Challenge #3: A project with something found in nature
This one is made with EP Paradise Beach (all the papers,
the fussy cut flowers, and the large flower sticker). The
flower centers are Doodlebug brads (all CC). I used
Recollections pearls and a "Happy Birthday" sentiment
from Skipping Stones Designs.
Challenge #4: A project with a handmade item (NON-paper)
All papers are from EP Paradise Beach and Hello
Summer. Flower is made from felt, using fringe scissors.
Stamp from Waltzingmouse, pearls from Recollections.
Challenge #5: American Flag Inspiration project
(I used EP Dots & Stripes, Bazzill blue cardstock, Doodlebug buttons,
Mariscino Twinery Twine, MM alpha and xmas red stickles (all CC).
Challenge #6: my challenge....I already posted that!
Challenge #7: LO with "getting there" travel theme
This LO was done with MM Panorama--stripe and car paper,
die cuts and journal box. Also MM Passport canvas tag. Used
MM copper letters and Sassafras Lass alpha, solid brown and
green paper from EP Paradise collection all from CC. Twine and
Spellbinders die used also.
Challenge #8: LO of everyday moments
Used EP Pride & Joy collection, Bazzill cardstock (from CC) brads and
alpha from stash.
Challenge #9: Project with a pinwheel on it
(I used EP So Happy Together, and a MM brad...twine from stash)
Challenge #10: Independence Day project
Card made with EP and FP papers, button is Doodlebug, brad
is MM Panorama...all CC. 4th is a Stamps of Life stamp, twine
from Trendy Twine (blueberry). Distressed with Black Soot Ink.
Challenge #11: Project using 3 different alphas
More EP Paradise Beach here...including the cute bike!
Aqua alpha is from EP This and That, rose alpha from
Paradise Beach, and "2" from a Thickers pack (that was
my stash). The buttons are Doodlebug, and twine from
my stash.
Challenge #12: Project using alcohol inks
Sailboat Blue alcohol ink on piece of acetate....fastened
to card with BG brads. Airplane and word "plane" from
Imaginesce stamps, clouds with liquid pearls, and doodles
with black pen.....all from CC (at least I thought the blue
ink was...but if not, I'm still at 50%....lol!). Other stamp
was Stamps of life....I masked to remove the words and
stamped in "plane" instead.
I'm going to try to make a new project for each challenge.....but one project for
up to three is allowed....we'll see how it goes!
And so an update....WOOOHOOO....I DID IT! TWELVE projects for
TWELVE challenges! Hope everyone is having as much fun as I did!
You are off to a great start. I need to write all these down and see what I can come up with.
