So much can be said with just a simple smile :)

And with a gorgeous, yet simple color palette too,
like this one from the Play Date Cafe:

Now that things have calmed down from my DS's graduation
I can play with some of the challenges out there!  This Challenge
#137 over on the Play Date Cafe blog (HERE) served as
inspiration for a clean and simple card, with big impact:

I used the new chevron stamp from Stamps of Life, the Smile
sentiment is from them as well.  Black and White twine and
a button from my stash finish it right off.  Inks used....Star
Spangled Blue from CTMH and Black Soot Distress Ink.

That's it for today's

So how about it?  You could play at the "Cafe" too....or
just create something for fun.  Go have some inky fun!

  1. Great use of the colors - I'd love to have you link up at 52 Card Pickup this week!

  2. The chevron stamped in blue is the perfect "splash" of blue. Love it!

  3. Love this simple but elegant card. Male or female works for me!

  4. Hi Laura, just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

  5. OHHH! LOVE the chevrons! THANKS so much for joining in the fun and playing along with us over at the PDCC:)
