Hi all! As much as I love scrapbooking, I also love doing home decor pieces to use as a way to display family photos instead of just plain old frames. Over at the Paper House blog, I've got a project up that does just that.....combines family trip memories, with a great home decor printer's tray, and also everything comes together using Xyron adhesives!
Yep, this is just a sneak......stop by the Paper House blog to see the entire project, and learn about the Paper House and Xyron items I used to create this fun, colorful project!
Thanks for stopping by today! Sharing some planner goodness soon....

Ready for Summer?
Ahhh....life in the Midwest....it's winter time, cold, gray and icy. Course, we don't have 30 inches of snow....I feel for my East Coast friends!
So I decided....who couldn't use a little sunshine right now? I know I could, so I'm sharing a project that I had published in Scrap n' Art magazine this summer:
It was created using Paper House products...including their cute cork and die cut cardstock stickers!
The die cut sand castle has just a sprinkle of glitter....the cork'd stickers match up with the Colorways perfectly!
To give this an even more beach feel....I used a sanding block around the edges of the photo.
Another gorgeous die cut sticker....the seashell looks real, right? It's wrapped in a piece of net and foam taped to the block.
The starfish is another die cut, and the glass knob was a dollar find at a craft store.
This is one of my favorite projects of our beach trip this past summer....I love home decor that is pretty and functional....and better yet....captures those precious memories!
I really hope you are enjoying sunshine wherever you are....if not....it's time to create your own!
Supplies:
Paper: Paper House Colorways--Sapphire
Embellishments: Paper House--Sunshine Cork'd stickers; Fun Beach die cut stickers; Recollections enamel dots
Adhesive: Xyron Mega Runner; Scor Tape
Other: netting, wooden block, wooden feet, Snow Cap Adirondack paint, glass knob.

Next, I added a piece of the Gatsby Fireworks paper with a strip of black cardstock down the center. I used chipboard letters I had, painted them, and stamped them with a script stamp using Black Tuxedo Memento Ink:
The letters were glued to the center strip, I added some rhinestones, and then tied the frames together with ribbon, and added some bells for a finishing touch.
Here's a closer look:

I cut it apart and added Paper House Sculpted Puffy Stickers to create the titles. The background papers are the new gorgeous Colorways collections (Rouge and Gatsby). There are more details over on the Paper House Blog HERE.

Spooky, Creepy, Crawly Home Decor
Time for more spooky Halloween crafting!! I've used the NEW Paper House Halloween collection....it's gorgeously creepy....love it!!
Isn't this fun? Super simple too....I used stacking bare wooden blocks I picked up at a craft store, then painted them with Hickory Smoke Distress Paint, then trimmed up some of the gorgeous new papers and inked them around the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink.
So fun to add the spooky words, scrolls and shapes from the sculpted stickers and then a few enamel dots to finish it off.
Here I just drew a random string for the spider, and those scrolls and words from the Scary Sculpted Stickers have such detail!
Thanks for stoppin' by today! Stop back soon! And make sure to stop by your LSS or the Paper House site to pick up this great collection!
Supplies:

And if you haven't already, make sure to go back and see ALL the projects from the Beach Hop this week....the DT really was amazing! I created this printer's tray project as a memory of our beach trip:

I've used Paper House beach paper, Chipoxy stickers as accents, a few rhinestones, and some rope cording to add just a touch of the beach. A few Prima flowers and of course the Paper House Snapshots. I'm in love with these....they make the perfect embellishment!! I love their white border, and for a few of them, I've popped a black cardstock mat under them to make them pop.
Thanks for stoppin' and thank for hoppin' today....and remember, the post below this (HERE) is a hop full of more inspiration!
Supplies Used:
Embellishments: Paper House- Just Beach Chipoxy Stickers
