February in the Midwest carries it's own challenges....like 19" of snow yesterday.....lol! But it's time for a new challenge of the month over at Scrap It Girl! This month we have a recipe challenge for you....use Blue, Arrows, and a Number on your page/project.
Here's a little inspiration to get you started:
Nothing like dreaming about the beach in the cold, cold winter months! Had a lot of fun creating during the Super Bowl (since my Packers were out *pout*). Was great to get some ink, paint, distress playtime!! And breaking open my hoarded packages of UmWow Studio and 7 Dots Destination Unknown made it better yet! Love these!
Thanks for stoppin' today, and remember to link up over at Scrap It Girl on THIS POST. A great prize pack this month too:
Lots of time....you have until the end of February to enter....so get out that stash and get creating!
Supplies Used:
UmWow Studio Destination Unknown Collection (chip, flair, stickers, tags, punch outs, mask)
7 Dots Destination Unknown Paper Collection
Tim Holtz Distress Ink--Black Soot
Tim Holtz Distress Paint--Antique Linen, Pumice Stone
Tim Holtz Perfect Pearls Mist--Biscotti
Dyan Revealy Dylusions Mist--Black Marble
Rope string--from stash
So cute, makes me want to go for a walk on the beach!
ReplyDeleteWow, great LO....full of cute details!

OK-now I miss trips to the Oregon Coast, especially during the "off" Seasons like late Fall, Winter..Your LO brings out those memories, and is a beautiful composition! :)
ReplyDeleteJust curious-does the #17 stand for something? Or just a number you used?
And is the contest yours? And would a Card count for submission? Or only LO's? Wonderful job, Laura!! :)
Char....I have a link for the contest in my post....it's over at Scrap It Girl....it says "THIS POST" above the prize pic...click on that and it will take you over! And any project works....just needs blue, arrows and a number. The 17 just was on the sticker sheet and I used it randomly (it fit the challenge too!)
