My Heart Belongs 2 U.....

Getting a little inky and painted today on my blog.
With this Valentine's tag....

Love getting a little grungy
now and then, don't you?

I started with a blank base tag.....then I stamped and
embossed the heart from Valentine Silhouettes using WOW
Angel Wings embossing glitter then inked the rest of the tag up
with Distress Ink:  Festive Berries, Barn Door, Shaded Lilac.
I dripped water on it to give the background
a more distressed look.

Next used the Tonic distressing tool around the edges of
the tag....I re-inked with more Barn Door ink.
Then I lightly brushed the tag with Pearl Adirondack
Paint Dauber...also used the daubers on the
metal #2....first Red Pepper, then while still wet,
used my finger to mix in some Pearl to get it a silvery pink.
The Pearl paint was also used to fill in the word "Cherish" on
the metal tag and brushed it around the edge of
the plastic TH fragment piece under the letter
"U".....that piece was also colored with Red
Pepper alcohol ink.  Then I inked up the love
definition stamp from the TH  Love Struck set in white,
and stamped randomly on the tag.  Finishing touches were
a bit of TH tissue tape under the letter U (after a brush of Barn Door)
and adding various TH baubles, charms, metal pieces and ribbon.

I'm linking up over on the Ranger Blog HERE.  Have you seen
