Remains of the Day....

Yep, just had to show my ink stained hands after a day of Glimmer Mist
(GM) and Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I was prepping the cards for the classes
I'm teaching at the LSS (Hannah's Home Accents). This is the first one:

Clean and simple.....using the resist technique, and believe it or not....a
$1.99 stamp!! Super cute, isn't it? Hannah's even has these on special
right now....if you're near Antioch, IL....drop by. If not....they actually
will ship items to you.....just FYI!

I used Olive vine and Sugar Maple (my new fav color for sure!) GM and
also dyed the Hug Snug seam binding (it was white) with those 2 colors
as well as some of the Deep Plum. I kept it simple, cause the techniques
are the important thing in the classes!

So my words of wisdom to you today? Go play, go get inky! You'll truly
be glad you did!

  1. Love your Fall card (and all the sparkle) -- it looks like "harvest time!"

  2. The card makers at Hannah's are in for a treat. love it. and you know the inky fingers are a favorite of mine.

  3. Love the card Laura and I too have had inky fingers the last couple of days. You do great things and I love them all!!

  4. Great card! Love they way everything blends together, ready for fall!

  5. love your card Laura....and love how beautifully the colors blended. Oh, and love the inky fingers....hope you didn't have your new ring

  6. Really fun card Laura, I love the pleated seam binding..gonna try that.

  7. oh look I can! I love to play and just as soon as I can get at my supplies again! Love this card...
