Livin' on the Edge!

How often do you step out of your "crafty comfort zone"?
I have so many tools, so many options.....who doesn't??
Time to break 'em out!! I played, and played, and then
played some more, with my Tim Holtz Edge Distresser!
Love this look, and went even more "shabby chic" with
the staples. I used the ever popular Cosmo Cricket paper
and the always fun Skipping Stones Designs stamps (for
sketch #43!).

Just what do you have just waiting in YOUR toy box??
Anyone like me.....saving them for.....I dunno, maybe
a rainy day or when you have the time?? Time to
start "livin' on the edge"! I challenge you to try
something out of your "crafty comfort zone", look out
it may be scary......lol......but you just never know where
it might lead you!

  1. You are right Laura, try out all of those products. I just tried the edge tech. I inked the edges and used my scissors, just scraped along the edge and it worked perfect. So some of the old stand-by's work just fine too!!! Your card is nice, love the little turned over corners.. KathyR.

  2. Laura...with all the tools we have, we could try a new technique every day..lol. But I do know what you mean & lately I have been trying new & different ideas. Now you have inspired me to pull out that distressing kit & get busy. Yesterday I used my TH tiny attacher & I am hooked..love it!

  4. I have some of those tools that are barely used as well. Thanks for the challenge to get the out and use them!
I like how you interpreted the corners on the sketch by turning the corners of your card stock in. Cute! Thanks for playing along with SSD!

  5. Ok, I am crying Uncle. I will get out (I mean open) my Fiskars stamp press and actually use it instead of my CB C plate for large stamps. While I have it out I might as well try a few other things. The card is adorable.
