Slice of Summer Party

I love bright, sunny days!  We haven't had too many this summer, so I enjoy them when I
can get them!  Maybe because I'm an August baby....lol.  So in honor of all summertime
babies, here's a sweet little slice o' summer party!  It could be for a birthday, or just to get
a few friends gathered for a BBQ and icy cold lemonade! 

I made this ensemble using stamps from The Rubber Cafe' (you can find it and a post
with all the specifics of how to and what I used HERE).

Moxie Fab World has a Birthday Party Ensemble Challenge going on right now, and
that's where I was inspired to make this sunny birthday set for all of us summer babies!

And would we like some close ups?  Here we go:

Every party needs an invite...love this cute jar and lid stamp set, and the lemon slices are
colored with Copic Markers, the pattern on the lid is stamped with a background stamp:

 

 
Gotta have some decor.....like my sweet little food/cupcake picks....the yellow piece
was a label stamp, then I stamped the rosette in black on the white circle, added a
sunny wedge of lemon and a few bright accents:

 And the table centerpiece....a rosette and tag on cute little straws:

And some mason jars with sunny tags and fun straws.....who says sipping lemonade has
to be boring?
 

And I always love to send the guests home with a little treat.....these little sacks of
"Summer Sun" (lemon drops!) are perfect little goodies to give out, especially all
wrapped up in their cute little mason jar goodie bags, complete with sunny lemon labels!
