Welcome to the Cutter's Creek Design Team Holiday Blog Hop!
We want you to hop along with us, for a chance at some awesome
Blog Candy....check out the Cutter's Creek Blog to see the goodies!
You hopefully came here from LORI'S BLOG, and of course, you
should start at the Cutter's Creek Design Team Blog HERE.
The objective for our
Blog Hop this weekend is to provide some
inspiration to help you get
your holiday crafting underway! Our
Design Team has come up with some
fabulous projects and we have
a little bit of everything, from cards to
gift ideas, and home decor items.
So we invite you to hop along with
us and get your creative juices flowing!
But first, my little home dec/gift item:
Now....I will apologize right now everyone! My computer has
caught itself a NASTY virus, and because of that....the VERY
un-techie me is trying desperately to post this on my son's
computer....using his unfamiliar photo editing software....as we
can clearly see....lol. I will try tweak this pic tomorrow (AGAIN)
but for now....I want to go ahead and get this posted! So excuse
my messy desk, and the so-so pic! Please come back and take
a second peek later today!! ETA: Ok....a BIT better of a pic....
my son's editing software isn't the greatest....but remember to
click on the pic for a bit of a larger version....it's sure better than
the first one anywho!.....lol.
And I've added a close up, so you can see the sparkle of the
Glitter Dust.....see info about it below...

For my project, I started with an unfinished shadow box frame,
painted it with Adirondack dauber paint (Watermelon and
Pitch Black)--love these....super easy way to paint wooden
projects! The papers and stickers and tag come from the
Echo Park Season's Greetings Collection, the sparkly red
letters and numbers are AC Dear Lizzy collection, the die
cut on the top was from Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two
and embellished with matching silver Nestabling from
Want2Scrap, the red tinsel is Tim Holtz Tinsel Twine
and the flower in the upper right corner is from the
Cutter's Creek Brand Gardenia Collection (Red/Black).
Another fun item I finally played with on this project....
Glitter Dust! This stuff is awesome! Just a light spray,
and it coats your paper/flowers, whatever, in a fine
glitter....dries instantly, and gives a soft shimmer....it's
gorgeous! Used it on the flower and on the paper
behind the word "santa" and behind the "2001".
So thanks for putting up with my sad little pic....but
would love to see a comment anyway--let me know
what ya think!! And I willtry to get a little better pic
up after I get some playtime with this new software!
....lol!! I'm a kinda slow learner!....lol.
Now don't forget.....next stop: FRAN'S BLOG and her
absolutely gorgeous project--hope you enjoy hopping along
with us this weekend....and remember to leave a comment
on every blog for you chance to win!
And just in case:
