Yay, I can post!!!
Well, I have been trying to post for a couple of days! Something weird
with blogger, I guess.....it wouldn't let me post pics!! But we're fine
today!!! WoooHooo!!!!
And I have this sweet little bday card....something different, this cute
little penguin stamp from The Stamps Of Life.....colored him in with
copics, and other than that....super simple....just basic blue, red, and yellow
cardstock, the Spellbinders square and scallop square dies, and the ribbon
is woven thru the paper, thru a slot punch from Creative Memories that
I just picked up.....pretty sweet!
So thank for stoppin'....hopefully will have better luck next week, and you'll
see lots of new posts.....I've got a lot of Christmas card ideas coming!!
Take the time for gettin' crafty today!!

Bee-utiful Day!!
Wow, I love fall....but don't love the slow grumpy bees and wasps at this
time of year! We've had a little "issue" here, can ya tell?....lol.
Well, that inspired me to play with Echo Park's Country Drive collection,
and I guess this just seemed like the card to make....lol. Are you hooked
on EP like I am.....wow, I just LOVE it ALL!!!
I also used some Spellbinders:
This is from Fancy Tags 2....and also using Nestaboard, and Nestabling
from Want2Scrap, this stuff is AWESOME!! The item on the left is
chipboard, the middle is my Spellbinder die cut, and the right is the
bling....they all just layer up sweet as you please, and easy peasy for
a gorgeous look! You can find it at Cutter's Creek if you are looking.
If Kim is sold out....just pop her an email and she'll gladly order it
up for ya!
Additional items used.....Twinery Baker's Twine, Black Soot Distress Ink,
Spellbinders Labels 22, and basic kraft cardstock.
Hope you enjoyed my little "tribute to bees" today.....make sure you
get inspired to do something crafty today!!

A little spooky....
Yes, it's a little spooky, how long it's been since my last post!!
Wow, how did I let THAT happen??....lol. Well, it's not for
lack of projects....and this weekend, I'm at a crop....should
get lots of goodies made! But this card above, is one of my
latest....I just absolutely love Tim Holtz....can ya tell??
Black Soot and Dusty Concord inks swirled to make the
creepy background. The Branch Tree Die cut out of white
cardstock, and painted with Black Soot Crackle medium
(click on the pic and look at it's spooktacular bark up close!)
the fence cut out and inked with more of the Black Soot, and
the "shadow" of the tree, is the negative space from the die
cut used as a stencil with Black Soot ink. And the sweet
little ghost stamp....is from Great Impressions....I stamped
it once on vellum for the background ghost, and once on
cardstock and colored a bit with copics, to make the ghost
in the costume.
Hope you grabbed some inspiration, and go do something crafty!!

We Interupt This Programming....
to bring you something completely different! Instead of the fall cards
and projects, I thought I'd pop this card in there! It's for the challenge
over at "The Cat's Pajamas".....it's called "Hype the Type" TCP#179
....the focal point of the card is the type! I used The Cat's Pajamas stamp
set "Kick Some Grass" (the flowers and the smile sentiment), and I played
with my new Want2Scrap nestabling! I didn't even know it would fit in
the nestabilities Labels 22 so perfectly! The polka dot is from the Echo
Park Be Mine 6x6 size.
Give yourself a "smile" today.....go get crafty!!

Ghostly Greetings....
This "Halloween Goodie" is for the Monday challenge (#28) over at the
"My Craft Spot" blog--the "Too Cute to Spook" challenge!
Made with more Echo Park fun...the "Happy Halloween" collection pretty
paper, and also more of the awesome Great Impressions stamps--the
tree with the bats (stamped on white cardstock, embossed in charcoal
Zing embossing powder, inked with Tim Holtz Dusty Concord and Black
Soot inks), the sweet lil' ghost (stamped on white cardstock, colored with
copics RV00 and C3 and some 0 to blend a bit) and the "Boo" stamped in
Dusty Concord and circle edged in Black Soot. I used the Spellbinders
pinking dies to cut the black circles. Crinkle ribbon, twine, and a bit of
black sparkly stickles on the bats finish this card off!!

More Halloween Goodies!!
This spooktacular Halloween decor was made using the yummy new
Echo Park Apothecary Collection, with lots of extra embellishment!
And I made it to try out for the design team over at "My Craft Spot"
make sure to check them out HERE to see their fun stamp sets and
my personal fave....their crinkle ribbon and twine!!
Here is a close up of the very top....
This project started with 3&1/2" and 5" paper mache' round boxes. The
top box, was made by inking all the edges of the box and it's lid, with
Black Soot Distress Ink. Then I cut out one of the labels on the EP
journal box sheet in the kit...it's a perfect fit! I did distress it up as well.
Then I just covered the box lid's edge and the box, with 2 different
Pretty Papers (PP's) from the set (I measured these to fit my box, the
lid was 3/4" the box was 2"). The additions.....a 1/2" strip of the diamond
pattern paper, a tag cut from the journal sheet, I added some black brads,
the star sticker, bat sticker, and lizard legs sticker, all from the sheet in
the kit, and a tiny twine bow to finish it off. I did ink all the paper pieces
with the Black Soot ink and the result close up is here:
Next was the bottom box....pretty much the same drill....PP's cut to fit
(1/2" for the lid, 2&3/4" for the box) I cut the poison label out of the
journal sheet (all pieces inked), and the bottles and 31st October are stickers.
The twine and gorgeous seam binding ribbon in grey, pleated and bowed.
Here's the close up:
I finished up the project by tying the 2 boxes together with more of the
Black and White twine.
Hope you are inspired to do something crafty today.....and wish me luck
for the design team entry!!

More Fall....
This card is one of the reasons I dearly wish my camera took better
pics! It's so so pretty in person! It looks pretty in the pic, but in
person....oooo.....lol. I used the 7 gypsies paper (the black and orange
are just front and back of the same sheet!), also Tim Holtz Distress
Inks in Forest Moss and Rusty Hinge. Used crystal and orange
stickles to hi-lite that once again, gorgeous Great Impressions pumpkin
stamp. The lacy edge....an EK Success punch, the bling....from
Want2Scrap, and a seam binding and twine bow finishes it off.
Hope you enjoy the fall views here.....as well as the beauty of the
inspiration around us!!
Hope you get some crafty time this weekend....it is World Card Making Day,
after all!!!!
