If spring won't come to you.....

....go and find it!!....lol. I did this LO with the Jenni Bowlin core d'nations
cardstock....sweet little red flowers just pop right out when you sand it!!
And the chipboard is AC Dear Lizzy collection thickers, also die cuts from
Crate Paper, and some little letters from Cosmo, and not wanting them to
feel left out.....some pretty patterned paper from EP. Put it all together,
and it's a lovely little testament to spring!! With the snow that fell here
today, I most definitely need it!....lol.

More LO's to come.....thanks for stoppin' by!

Vintage Beauty....

Oh these colors for the CR84FN challenge #23 just scream vintage to me!! And
so I played and tweaked to come up with this little vintage number....

Graphic 45 Le Romantique paper for the tag, the rose, the stripe, and the
little "stamp". The rose is coated in distress rock candy stickles for a look
of "sugared" vintage. The tag was inked with vintage photo distress ink,
then coated with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Medium (clear of course!) and
then re-inked with vintage photo to bring out the cracks in the crackle after
it dried. Then just the little touches, a crocheted flower from a friend (thanks
DebG!) and Webster's Pages sparklers, black seam binding bow, and the lacy
edge on the bottom....one of my new Martha punches....ooooo is this one
gorgeous or what?!!

A little trip down memory lane....ok....hold on, I'm not THAT old...lol. I'm
hoping to get some scrapping posted....so check in soon......I'll try not to be
gone for so long!.....lol!

Finding Springtime.....

When spring seems like it will never come.....bring the springtime to you!!
This springtime set is for a little crop get-together with friends, to chase
away those waiting for spring blues!! This is also my entry into the contest
over at the REMINISCE BLOG for a "party" project! What says party like
a hoppin' crop!! I used one of their rockin' Easter collections....with their
gorgeous shimmer paper....make sure you click on the pic to see the bigger
view!! And here is a close-up of the invite:

I used the Reminisce papers, the sticker (the little chick, with my "just us"
added), the eggs cut from some of the paper, and the "grass" is also one of
the Reminisce papers....cut with my Martha Stewart fringe scissors (LOVE!).

And this is a close up of the rosette from the bucket handle.....
I used another Reminisce sticker for the center....but altered it up with some
cardstock (distressed and inked with TH dusty concord....you know me....lol)
and I cut out one of the cute little chicks from that Reminisce paper....you can
see in the first pic.....turned out super cute, and it's multifunctional....a place
card, AND ready to hold goodies at the party (a little bling, a little chocolate...
a crop necessity....lol). And look at this, speaking of a little chocolate.....lol.....

Yep, my little chick and bunny cups are full of springtime M&M's.....yum!

And wondering where I got the cute little clear lidded cups?? In my ever
growing stash of "items to alter".....I have been collecting the little "dolcini"
cups from Olive Garden!! Yep, get those little desserts "to go" and they
come in these sweet little cups just ready to alter up and fill up!! And FYI
the little bucket I altered....yep, another Target dollar bin find!

Enjoy this little "breath of springtime" set.....think about all the options for
altering those little cups!! And make sure to hop on over to check out the
REMINISCE BLOG! If you aren't familiar with their awesome papers and
embellies....you'll soon find out what you've been missing!!

'Til next time.....yep, I gotta say it.....C'MON SPRING!!.....LOL :D

Thanks for stoppin' by!!
