Pretty in Pink

This cute cupcake card was made for SSD sketch #38. I used the
"Buns N Crunches" set and the Happy Birthday is from the
"You Know You're Gettin' Old" set. Love these Spellbinders dies
Labels 9.....I think they are one of my favorites! I also used a new
Martha Stewart punch I picked up for the mini cupcake. The paper
was BoBunny Lovestruck and solid Bazzill. I've been on a crafting
rampage.....so more posts soon!

Back from.....back to......

Well, it's back from the beach, and back to school!! Can't believe how fast
the summer flew by! I threw together a few quick cards today, and this
one is the Skipping Stones Design Challenge #37. It's a bummer.....my pic
just doesn't do this one justice....it was my first try at stamping on acetate
and then using glitter! You use crystal lacquer as the "glue". I needed to
get the pic up, so not enough time for it to dry completely.....but it's so
pretty in person!! It's a very fun and easy technique to try, I seem to have
all this glitter and never use it! So I thought it was time to get that glitter out,
and get glitzy!! Yes it's always all about the bling!!

CHA ROCKS!!

Well, back from CHA and as you can see......
I got to meet Tim Holtz!! And I had such a
great time.....and did I mention.....I got to
meet Tim Holtz!! Ok, lol.....enough of that,
but it was overwhelming.....so much new
product, my favorites.....definitely the new
MME Lost and Found collection (gorgeous!)
the new Vagabond die cutting/embossing
machine (you guessed it, from Tim!) and
also a sweet line of stamps from a place
called The Pixie Cottage.....these will be
for sale at Cutter's Creek! And I also love
all the new BoBunny......I'm a BoBunny
addict!! And so much to catch up on, but
I got my card made for the sketch
challenge at Skipping Stones Design this
week.....SSD # 35. I used their Dandelion
Dreams set, and I stamped the flowers in
versamark, and then used a soft green
chalk from the Pebbles earth tone set to
"pop" them out......I really love that soft
effect!

Hope to get blogging a little more often,
just have so much company, camps, and
vacation prep, it's been hard to get here!
Looking forward to school......whew!!
